You’re not satisfied with the one-a-day wear in attendants’ or mothers of the bride/groom dresses?  Aren’t you the lucky one!

Custom wedding gown designers and dressmakers are in more abundance than they ever were in years past. And your attendants don’t have to settle for one-design or one-style dresses and gowns worn by all. If one chooses a wedding gown designer who works with original designs, the dress and gowns are probably going to be more costly. If one determines that she is happy with a non-original and or a wedding dress cut from a pattern, then she will probably get by with spending less and yet, still have dresses and gowns that are different from the norm or traditional wear once and then throw-away.

And, a good seamstress or dress maker can make changes for each gown and dress so that the person wearing it will look and feel good about the image she creates. And isn’t that important? Why put them in those ugly rack gowns and dresses? Is it so important that you be the only one that stands out? With a custom dressmaker, the different sized and body styles can be complimented.

No matter your decision though, give yourself plenty of lead-time.  Though a custom wedding gown and dresses are original design may take longer, even dresses cut from patterns need to be fitted to the wearer; and, since ladies invariably determine to lose weight, schedule plenty of time. And please, sign a specific contract attached to a sketch and be prompt for fittings.
